Calvin Hodnett is a trusted voice within the Christian community—a leader, mentor, and speaker whose life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to building strong men, strong families, and spiritually grounded churches. With warmth, humility, and wisdom earned through years of service, Calvin has dedicated his work to walking alongside churches and men’s ministry leaders, equipping them with meaningful resources that foster transformation and authentic connection.
He is the founder of Men’s Ministry Hub, a collaborative platform created to support churches in discipling men with integrity, purpose, and faith that’s lived out in real life. Through thoughtful tools, sermon resources, and relational leadership development, Calvin offers pastors and leaders a trusted framework to engage men not just as individuals, but as husbands, fathers, mentors, and community builders. Calvin’s voice is rooted in both Scripture and practical experience.

As an Associate Minister at Fort Foote Baptist Church and former President of the Baptist Men’s Ministry of the DC Baptist Convention, he has spent decades cultivating relationships, building teams, and navigating the real-life demands of leading in church and civic contexts. His ability to bridge biblical wisdom with everyday leadership makes his message both motivating and deeply grounding. Whether speaking at men’s retreats, church services, or leadership trainings, Calvin is known for being real—offering encouragement without platitudes, conviction without condemnation, and guidance that feels personal and doable. He believes true discipleship goes beyond belief; it’s about how men show up with courage and character at home, in church, and in their communities.
At the heart of Calvin’s ministry is a simple conviction: when men lead from their identity in Christ—with love, clarity, and trustworthiness—everything around them changes. And through Men’s Ministry Hub, he’s helping churches turn that vision into reality, one conversation, one leader, and one brotherhood at a time.
